Kayak - Closest Iceberg Kayaking Option(s) to Anchorage & Southcentral Alaska
All of our kayak day tours operate at Spencer Glacier Lake, which is a perfect paddle for beginners and expert paddlers. There is no tidal influence at Spencer Lake and no boat wakes. Spencer Lake is approximately 2 miles long by a half mile wide and growing every year as the glacier recedes. Our kayak paddle plan at Spencer Glacier is determined by the weather of the day and paddler’s experience level. Our guide’s tailor the paddle plan to the group and will take you to where best to go…to a new captivating iceberg with a moulin hole, or where a glacier cave has formed. Spencer glacier and all glaciers are dynamic and always changing. Our goal is to share with you this awesome location, our firsthand knowledge we have witnessed of the receding glacier & connect you to the glacier that we love.
We also go kayaking with our Prince William Sound Ocean Kayak at Blackstone Bay, and with our Spencer Glacier Overnight Camping Trip.
