Chugach Productions and Film Projects

Chugach Adventures provides logistical and safety support for film, photography shoots, and other production projects as needed throughout Alaska.  Services include location scouting, remote medical services, helicopter & fixed wing logistical support, remote field catering, gear & equipment outfitting, film permitting guidance & consulting. 

We have worked with National Geographic, The Discovery Channel, BBC, NHK Japan, the Travel Channel, Pop Sugar Media, RAW Productions and many others.

Our company is one of the few guide & production companies in the state of Alaska that has a local hire policy and with that has a vast local expertise with locations and logistical needs from all of our team.  Our lead production guides are trained in technical rope rescue, swiftwater rescue, wilderness first responder medically trained, glacier travel & crevasse rescue.  We are also one of the few guide service companies in Alaska with numerous watercraft  including rafts, kayaks, & canoes that enables us to provide a plethora of glacier & water options for production work.  The glacier water interface that we can capture at terminus glacier lakes in Southcentral Alaska is of the highest quality.  We also provide AK Railroad train production guidance and can facilitate large scale production mobilization on the AK Railroad to remote locations.  The Alaska Railroad & Alpine Air Alaska Helicopters are two of our strongest partner companies that we utilize to facilitate remote access.

We are conveniently located within 1 hour of Anchorage, and so cost for productions can be minimized without the need for remote Alaska transportation, as well as, we can provide van shuttle & transportation for productions in Southcentral Alaska.  We can customize any production need and will do all we can to facilitate your goals for a successful production shoot.
