Multi-Day Adventures
Girdwood is a great mountain town to spend several days in. Most people either start their Alaskan vacation from Girdwood or finish their vacation in the Glacier Valley. And many visitors wish they spent more than one or two days. The town is the only ski resort community in Alaska, with Alyeska Resort, and has easy access to Whittier, Seward, Hope, or Cooper Landing for great day tour options. The AK Railroad Coastal Classic Train passes by Girdwood every morning from June 1 – September 15 at 8 AM, and the AK Railroad Glacier Discovery Train passes by Girdwood everyday at 11:00 AM.
If you have any questions about the tour options below or have any trip logistics questions, please let us know. Melanee and I are both born & bred Alaskans, and are happy to help you on your next adventure.
