Heli Rafting & Glacier Walk

$899.00 per person

Our most exclusive and remote rafting tour!
Start your day with an unforgettable Scenic Helicopter flight followed by a 15 minute Glacier Walk with Alpine Air.  After the glacier stop-over get a bump to your rafts for a 12 river mile float from mountain glacier headwaters to the Turnagain Arm ocean.  You will experience the entire amazing watershed of the beautiful 20 Mile glacier River Valley.

Access the remote glaciated Chugach Mountains with Alpine Air Alaska; there is no better view than from a Robinson R44 helicopter.  Buzz the Twenty Mile Glacier and see the grand scope of the Chugach Mountains.  Land on the iceberg-laden Twenty-Mile Lake for your private Alaska raft adventure down Twenty Mile River.  Float 12 stunning miles downriver to an ocean pick-up on Turnagain Arm at the Seward Highway. Keep a good look out for wildlife: bears, moose, bald eagles, and salmon.

My favorite aspect of this trip is how few people actually visit 20-Mile Glacier, but those who do, get to experience raw, untouched nature – it is truly breathtaking upon arrival.  – Justin Siemens – Chugach Adventures’ Operations Manager and Guide Since 2012.  Born & Raised in Anchorage, AK.
