{"id":19202,"date":"2018-11-19T17:02:02","date_gmt":"2018-11-20T02:02:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alaskanrafting.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=19202"},"modified":"2019-12-16T19:11:52","modified_gmt":"2019-12-17T04:11:52","slug":"grandview-glacier-hike-overnight-backpacking-camp-trip","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/alaskanrafting.com\/product\/grandview-glacier-hike-overnight-backpacking-camp-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"Grandview Glacier Hike &#038; Overnight Camping Trip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Trip Details:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Originating Departure available from Anchorage (9 AM) or Girdwood (12 Noon) to start this trip via the Glacier Discovery Train.<\/p>\n<p>3:00 PM Arrival Time on your first day to the Grandview Whistle Stop in the Chugach National Forest is at approximately 3 PM.\u00a0 We will hike approximately 2 miles to our overnight camping location.<\/p>\n<p>Your guide will tailor your hiking and glacier walking with crampons to your group and will determine where and what best to accomplish over the next two days.<\/p>\n<p>4 PM &#8211; Departure from the Grandview Whistle Stop on Day 2.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em><strong>This trip will immerse you into the wild of Alaska surrounded by glaciers and wildlife.\u00a0 Recently, not many travelers have enjoyed time in this location as the area has only recently been developed with some trail infrastructure.\u00a0 Historically, the Grandview area had roadhouses &amp; more travelers as this was the main route between Seward &amp; Anchorage.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Chugach Adventures was the only guide service company to explore the area in 2018 and we know any guests booking this camping trip will have a most incredible wilderness camping experience.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Cancellation Policy for Custom, Multi Day, or Package Reservations:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cancellations of package or custom reservations (or any components within a package) that are made 36 days or more prior to travel are 90% refundable (there is a 10% non-commissionable cancellation fee).\u00a0 Any charges incurred by Chugach Adventures as a result of cancellation will be applied to the reservations in addition to the 10% fee. Cancellations of custom or package reservations that are made 35 days or less prior to travel are non-refundable. Chugach Adventures does not issue refunds for unused services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Travel Insurance: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation
