2020 Recap – Chugach Adventures adopted many new policies regarding the health, cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene of our operations in order to successfully operate in 2020. We were one of the few local Guide Service companies in Southcentral Alaska that fully operated and provided employment for many of our local guides. We are committed to operating for the long term and providing adventure tours for all.
We take the health and well-being of both our employees and guests extremely seriously. We have instituted many additional policies by which to conduct our outdoor adventure business practices in a safe and sanitary manner that reflects the heightened awareness of, and need for, proper hygiene practices. New policies have been adopted at all levels of our guiding operation. As state and federal guidelines continue to change, we will revise our policies to reflect the current best practices for preventing the spread of the virus and ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients and guides.
While the great outdoors is considered to be a safe place to recreate, we want to ensure that ALL of our guests have peace of mind while traveling with Chugach Adventures.
Thank you all for your continued support and business, it is greatly appreciated. Adventuring outside in 2020 was one of the most normal things that our guests & our guides were able to continue to do and we look forward to 2021 for new adventures!

We encourage adventurers to plan and make a trip to Alaska as there aren’t many destinations where you can enjoy the wide-open wild-space of our great state!
We are a small local Alaskan family business and the global pandemic will greatly affect our business. Alaska is an ideal destination to escape the pandemic, and we know of no better location to get outside and experience wild places than here in Alaska. We encourage all to get outside while at home and we hope to see you in Alaska in the near future.
